CALES ASEMS Program

CALES ASEMS is aimed specifically at STEM majors in the College of Agriculture, Life, and Environmental Sciences, which includes Agribusiness Economics & Management, Agricultural Technology Management and Education, Animal Sciences, Applied Biotechnology, Biosystems Engineering, Biosystems Analytics & Technology, Environmental & Water Resource Economics, Environmental Science, Human Development and Family Science, Microbiology, Natural Resources, Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition and Human Performance, Nutritional Sciences and Wellness, Perssonal and Family Financial Planning, Plant Sciences, Sustainable Plant Systems, Veterinary Science

 

Students follow a different timeline of services depending on whether they are entering as a first-year student or transferring from a community college.

 

In addition, students should also meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • First generation college student (neither parent or guardian has completed a 4-year bachelor’s degree)

  • Offered or awarded a Pell Grant

  • Community college transfer student
