This temporary website is posted to provide information about our dear TRIO ASEMS scholar and peer mentor, Julissa “Julie” Salazar, who passed away on August 6, 2026. We are coordinating a vigil in the coming weeks to honor Julie through reflection and sharing memories as a community. You are welcome to participate in whatever form feels right for you, from sharing your voice to simply being present. As the details develop, we will share them here.

Below is information on Julie's vigil, which will be taking place on Saturday September 12th from 6 to 8 pm at the Cactus Garden Stage on the Mall (across from Admin Building).
